Fun, Dates, and Happiness

Fun, Dates, and Happiness.png

The last time my husband and I went on a date was the beginning of September.  We went to eat at a restaurant for the first time since the pandemic started.  It wasn’t a romantic date, but just getting out  fand being together gave us the chance to relax a little and lighten up.  We talked and laughed and just had fun.

Having fun together is a critical part of every relationship.  It makes us look forward to spending time together in the future.

Why is it important to anticipate spending time together?  Sometimes we get so caught up in our work, our chores, and our other responsibilities that we forget to include a few  moments of togetherness.  Spending time with your partner makes them feel like they are a priority and reassures them that they have a place in your everyday life.  It gives you a chance to talk, hang out, have fun, and just be happy together.

Schedule a few moments every day to just be together (even if you have to video chat – it counts.)  Your relationship will grow stronger and you will be happier.
